Search & Rescue (SAR) Crafts

A Dependable, Economical Solution for First Responders

The Seal Craft SAR line features purpose-built rescue watercraft for the departments that can’t afford to be slowed down by terrain, season, or budget. Two configurations. One high-performance inflatable boat that does it all. With multiple patent-pending innovations, the Seal Craft SAR is built to perform under the most critical conditions.

Available in ice rescue airboat (starting at $48,000) and swift water jet (starting at $22,900) configurations.

The SAR Craft Foundation

Patent-Pending TPU Hull Engineered for the Extreme

Every Seal Craft SAR unit starts with the same foundation: a patent-pending 3,000-denier TPU inflatable hull. This isn’t recreational-grade PVC — TPU delivers significantly higher puncture resistance, tear strength, and impact absorption. Rated to -140°F, it flexes around and over obstacles instead of failing on them, and it performs across the most critical conditions — from frozen lakes in January to debris-filled flood zones in April.

From that foundation, each SAR model is purpose-built for its environment. The Swift Water Rescue Raft features a jet-hull (available in 14′ or 16′) engineered for debris-filled flood response and shallow, swift water operations, while the Ice Rescue Airboat introduces five patent-pending innovations designed for ice, slush, and mixed-surface rescue. The Seal Craft SAR line gives departments the ability to cover a multitude of conditions without the weight, complexity, or cost of legacy equipment.

Seal Craft delivers the performance, durability, and accessibility teams need to respond without limitation.

Configurations for Critical Missions

Swift Water & Flood Response

SAR Swift Water Raft

Built for rivers, rapids, and flood conditions where exposed propellers get destroyed and aluminum hulls can’t perform. Jet propulsion delivers shallow water access and debris-field navigation pair with our patent-pending TPU hull to go where conventional rescue boats can’t. Available with two jet drive engine options up to 40 HP.

Key Specs:

  • Available in 14′ (430 jet drive outboard – max 25HP) or 16′ (470 jet drive outboard – max 40HP) configurations
  • Tohatsu engine with jet propulsion — no exposed propeller
  • Patent-pending 3,000-denier inflatable TPU hull
  • Custom Trailer Included

Starting at: $22,900

Ice & Snow to Open Water

SAR Ice Rescue Airboat

Engineered specifically for unstable ice rescue response. Handles thin ice, broken ice, pressure ridges, slush, and crosses into open water — conditions where traditional aluminum boats and sleds fail. At approximately 900 lbs, it deploys faster and with fewer crew than conventional rescue airboats without a six-figure cost.

Key Specs:

  • 16-foot unit length, approx. 900 lbs
  • 85HP AODES fuel-injected, water-cooled engine
  • Quietest airboat ever designed operating under 85dB
  • Features 5 patent-pending innovations: TPU hull, reduction drive, brake system, air frame & steering console
  • Comes ready to launch with deployable ladder, front bumper, LED light bar, removable wind bra and side curtains
  • Custom Roller Trailer Included

Starting at: $48,000

Wondering if the Seal Craft is the right fit for your operation?

ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT COMPROMISE

Professional Rescue Capability for real budgets

Traditional rescue airboats and purpose-built swift water craft routinely run $80,000 to well over $100,000. The Seal Craft SAR line starts at $22,900 and tops out well under that threshold — with every package including a custom roller trailer and no hidden add-ons.

Lighter operational weight means smaller crew requirements and faster deployment. Purpose-built design with patent-pending innovations means less adaptation and workaround in the field.

For departments that need serious capability without overextending their capital budget, the Seal Craft Search & Rescue line is the platform.

  • Fire departments
  • Search & rescue teams
  • Emergency management agencies
  • Flood response units
  • Rural and remote response teams
