Seal Craft is a patent-pending air boat engineered specifically for unpredictable and unsafe ice conditions. Designed for safety, comfort, and durability, it’s built to get you across weak, shifting, or broken ice with confidence.
Unlike traditional aluminum airboats that ride rough and crack welds on jagged ice, the Seal Craft uses a scaled Ultra Molecular HDPE (UMHDPE) hull plate that flexes and cushions the ride. It’s lighter, tougher, and designed specifically for icy terrain — not open water.
Depending on configuration, the Seal Craft comfortably carries 2 to 4 adults plus gear. Each layout is optimized for balance, visibility, and performance on ice.
Think all air boats are too loud to be around without hearing protection? Not with Seal Craft. Our 80-horsepower, fuel-injected, water-cooled engine is much quieter than the old aircraft engines found on most aluminum airboats. You’ll notice the difference immediately – it passes all decibel restrictions meaning hearing protection is optional and not necessary.
Everything about it was designed for safety. The low center of gravity, patent-pending stainless steel frame, and reduction drive system give you stability and control on uneven ice. Plus, the full windshield, ice brake, and steering column improve visibility and handling.
Seal Craft can be stored just like an ATV or snow machine — in a standard garage or enclosed trailer. We recommend keeping it covered and out of direct sunlight when not in use to protect the hull from weathering.
The UMHDPE hull is nearly maintenance-free. It’s designed to flex under pressure instead of cracking. If damage ever occurs, repairs are simple and affordable — typically involving easy patching rather than full replacement.
Seal Craft’s water-cooled engine and lightweight design make it incredibly efficient — significantly more fuel-conscious than traditional aluminum airboats.
Anywhere you face unpredictable ice — from Fort Peck to Saginaw Bay and beyond. Whether for fishing, transport, or rescue, Seal Craft keeps you safe when ice conditions change fast.
You can also use it on the open water with a motor for hunting or fishing.
